Finding New Camping Solutions

My enjoyment of camping trips and holidays has often been ruined in the past by little niggles that tend to grow into large annoyances. I've often thought that there are negative elements to such trips that it should be possible to avoid.

In recent times I've decided to start tracking down potential solutions to the camping problems that I appear to be facing on a frequent basis.

You might think that there are some elements of these trips that you simply have to grin and bear. The weather is one negative that can fall into this category at first glance.

After all, being stuck in a muddy field in the middle of a storm is a pretty unpleasant experience and, since we can't control the weather, one that you might think is difficult to avoid.

I've since learnt that careful planning can help to solve such problems. Take the weather as one example.

It's lovely to find a camp site that's in a nice rural location. You can really feel that you're enjoying the great outdoors. Unfortunately, you can feel a bit exposed to the elements in such locations.

One way of dealing with this is to book into a camp site that is on the outskirts of a village. I've used this technique to ensure that I have a rural setting, while also having a nearby pub for shelter in case of bad weather.

Toilet facilities can also often be a problem - they are frequently simply not up to scratch.

Rather than suffer them, I've purchased a portable camping toilet. It folds up into a compact space, meaning that I can transport it easily in my car.

Fortunately, it's also environmentally friendly, hygienic and doesn't even need a water supply in order to operate.

An excellent solution to one of the nasty problems that crop up on camping trips.

Planning and investigation can help you to find many solutions to problems that would otherwise undermine your camping holiday.
